Skyblade, who brainwashed you?

You sound like a little 5 year old who's rattling off what his/her parents have driven into their heads since day 1.... sheeesh. Swearing contributes to the decline of society? prove it! It's a sign of no control? bull****! It reflects ignorance? how so? I know brilliant people who swear. Swearing is a normal thing, done by lots of people.... even the beloved El Presidente of ASW swears. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

I hate to tell you, but grow up. Swearing to excess is pointless, but saying "damn" does not give ANYONE the right to say "watch your language"

Maybe I should add a few smiley faces in there as well? Lay off 'em.

If you're worried about swearing don't worry. Within the next four years Bush will make this country a theocracy and swearing will be outlawed. Yes this is true, he is already tring to ban certain religions from the military.

Okay, everyone, calm down, and quit insulting each other.

As a moderator here, let me inform you that swearing is frowned upon and may result in having your karma lowered. This is whether the word is bleeped or not.

There are other ways to express yourselves that do not involve using language that is considered offensive to others. Also, insulting others may also result in a karma drop.

I am not going to drop anyone's karma for the posts already in this string, since it seems some clarification was needed, but will do so for future posts that include swearing/obscenities, or insults/flames.

Try to keep these boards friendly and helpful.
