Don't care, never used the thing. It'll probably just be until Janus gets it's act together anyways. Somebody who knows whether it's because of Janus or whether it's a permanent thing would be able to answer that though.

I think it'll come back, as I think they'd come out and tell us if they were taking it away for good (trust in the moderators, obi-wan). I kind of like it, as it can turn up some good info on the answers to stumpers in plugs and such.

It's NOT asking, it's looking up. Getting information. You ask: What's the maximum possible number of escorts one can have (>including fighters). You just ask, well, that's one thing. You run a search before you ask, and you find your answer... or not. You probably won't, but you will have a lot of information you can add to the discussion. (How many fighters (>interceptors) does a dreadnought carry?

Janyus was originally a roamn god, he had two heads one looked to the past and one to the future and is featured on a lot of Roman coinage. In this context though Janus is the ASW web server. It has been taking some heavy strain since one of it's "heads" broke down and the Search function was a large part of that. It should get back up when Janus is fixed up, but none of us know when that'll be.
