Ick... Starcraft, Warcraft, and Total Annialation, are all terrible games. Way to easy to master. Within one 6 hours of play you can almost master them. For all of them there is but one secret, rush and build lots of resource gatherers. If you want a good game play Age of Kings or Star Knights.

I'm with that Widowmaker...if your gonna be any good at those you just gotta be robotic, and that sucks for me. I like strategical stuff. I haven't played either of those games though...i just sit around playin Avernum, EVO, and Elite Force.

Starcraf = Stinks
Total Annihilation = ROCKS! It's awesome! You can even change the difficulty level by making lots of enemies, less resources for you, have enemies be allies with other enemies, etc. I don't see why you don't like this game, it's great!

Starcraft owns. Plain and simple. It is what I would call the greatest game (not just strategy) ever made. I absolutely hate all first person shooters (with the fine exception of Unreal Tourney), and Starcraft leaves the rest of the games in its class in the dust. Whoever said that those types of games can be mastered in 6 hours? bullcrap. Go on battlenet, and go 1 v 1 with those freaks with 2000 wins... I guarentee that you'll rethink your "mastery" of the game. Ok, now for the actual game... it's great. It's an awesome continuation of warcraft, but with much better features and ideas behind it. The 3 races are well balanced, and you can become an expert in any one of 'em. Playing online is VERY enjoyable.... going up against 6 computer opponents with only one ally is just too much fun.... 2 v 2 games are great. There's nothing better than scouring the map for your enemy while you and your ally rush to make the strongest units you can, as quick as you can. And ****ty games don't get the "Computer Game of the Year" award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. And now for a little math....
10 Carriers + 2 Arbiters + 2 Observers = Game, Set, Match.

Starcraft is a good game as far as multiplayer. I personally like strategy, and SC is one of the best. The only games I play more are EVO and Ares. When EVN comes out, though, SC is gonna get dusty in a forgotten corner of my Hard Disk.

My position on the SC hoopla:
Back when I came back to this board after a long hiatus, I mentioned that I had tired of SC. I RELATED SC AND EV/O FIRST!!! MY CREDIT! MINE!!! 
However, SC is a very good game. Excellent even. And I'm no longer tired of it. If you ever see EmWEAPON on bnet, don't hesitate to msg me.
