Does anyone know if Frozen Heart still has a website?
The links provided do not work...and the cursed emulator can not display the help files(all black).
Thus I am lost...I can't find any special missions(except the plague), the only thing I can do is hunt pirates in my little Snow Goose (And everytine I capture a Buccaneer and try to use it as my ship the emulator crashes 8-( )

Sigh....yet that does not help me at all...
I still have no info as to what the point of the plug in is...
Stuffit that comes with Executor can't seem to extract the info files, nor can I read the help file, and of course I can't install any other version of stuffit.
Could somebody e-mail me the help files and the encrypted files?
I must have been to almost every bar and not recieved any missions, I've maxed my combat rating hunting pirates...but I'm still lost..

You're going to be stuck later on if you can't load the encrypted files.
However, for now, start a new pilot, land immediately on Thallos (the planet where you start) and go straight to the bar. That, and the intro text (which you should read again, another reason for starting a new pilot) should tell you all you need to know.
It was a pity about the web-site, wasn't it. The worst thing was that Tripod never actually had a human check it. Some kind of spider found software on it and 'puff', gone. However, it wouldn't have answered your questions anyway.
I will be interested to know how you get on playing it on a PC - especially how the Quick Time movies work out.
If you discover that it crashes a lot, take out all the QT stuff from the plugins folder.
PS, one final word of advice, keep your legal status as high as you can with the Democrats - you can't progress if you don't.
Oh, and don't trust the Rigellians more than you have to (which really isn't very much at all).

In fact I have almost the whole space mapped...even that star thing after Betelgeuse...
Is there any way that I could open the encrypted files on a pc? Or get them unencrypted?
The windows stuffit doesn't exactly work...

I've found that the executor stuffit version can't decode the plugins at all, and the windows one doesn't help the situation. The only way I've thought of doing it is unstuffing them on mac and bringing them back on disc, or email.. but that could take a while. Also, EVO always crashes when you try to use a ship as your own in my experience, both on LCIII and using executor.

Maybe Martin can use his influence with Ambrosia to get them to provide some web space. After all, Frozen Heart is a fairly renowned EVO plug. It might attract traffic to Ambrosia's web site. (Perhaps in exchange, an Ambrosia ad banner will be placed on top of each page?) Besides, I'm sure that web site will probably be more useful than 90% of the things in EVBB.
