REDchigh starts Research on one new invention- The Kamikaze fighter. In ResEdit Resorces, the K-Pilot does 290 energy damage, and 350 Mass damage. The Kamikaze pilot will be carried in a bay, and the pilot itself will have 60 Shield and no armor. A Bay will carry 8 pilots, and the range is the same an a space mine, only w/ less power. The pilot is really just a crescent fighters filled with explosives, so the research is very low. Maybe .3M? The fighters will cost 90,000 $ a piece, and the bay will cost 900,000 $. the bay will weigh 80 tons. The research will take one day to complete, and it takes two posts to build five pilots and a bay. If i can see where thunder is going with his idea, they might work together..... The prices are EVO retail prices, so the prices here will be 35,000 for pilots and 300,000 for the bay.
REDchigh also decides to spend 1.2 M to build 3 more Zidaras, and arm them w/ K-pilot bays instead of Zidigar bays.

On Sumer, on the planets main geological survey station...

"Sir! We're detecting a MASSIVE quake!" said one lieutenant.

"Where?" asked the commander.

"On the main continent!"

"Size?"

"A level 13 planetary quake!" the lieutenant screamed.

"Level 13! Why, that'll shake the planet apart!"

"What should we do?"

"Call an emergency evacuation! We're abandoning Meira!"

Four days later....

In the cataclismic earthquake that had started the destruction of Meira, over 1,000 people had died. During the evacuation, another 1,020. Then, on the final days of the evacuation, the entire third continent had submerged under a wave of magma, killing off another 2,000 people. Then, Meira was fully abandoned, but 3,000 people had died. Scientists knew this would happen, had known that earthquakes would destroy Meira for years, but they never thought it would happen this soon.

Now, the once blue skies of Meira are filled with smoke and choking dust and ash. 99.8% of the planet was covered by magma, and the last .2% would fall within half a minute. Where there had once been forests and trees, hills and vallies, grasslands and jungles, now there was only molten rock, lava, smoke, and flames.

The next day, the core of Meira distabilized, and the remaining refugees exited the system, just as the red ball of Meira exploded, sendings trillions of metric tons of hot rock and magma flying into space and over 2,000 miles per hour. The next day, the Sumer system was littered with molten rock, still hot, and billions upon billions of tons of planetary dust and debris.

Carnotaur, after getting back Intimidator, decided to go to the Sumer system and investigate the wreckage. Going there along with the Knigh and Specter (both CWs), Carnotaur surveyed the vast amount of wreckage. Then, suddenly, he noticed something unusual. Large traces of silver were detected in the debris. Soon, Carnotaur found over 1,000 tons of molten silver, and he was still finding more. Soon, Carnotaur had to call in dozens of frieghters and aradas to help pick up the 2,500 tons of silver left over from Meira. Apparently, Meira was rich in silver, but no one intended on looking for it.

Then, once Carnotaur had collected his reward, he set a course back for S-570....

Suddenly, 8 Zidaras uncloak in the qeris system, and start harrasing the patrols. The Zidaras go straight for the only the first WS in the system, and destroy it after it has launched all it's fighters. Then, 35 crescentwarships, 50 Zidaras, 15 A-A Aradas, and a Zidagar Dreadnaught warp in. The Zidagar dreadnaught takes out three A-warships before it's Shields get low. The A-A aradas go straight for the all the azdaras, and the crescent warship goes after the Adzgari aradas. Amidst all the chaos, one of my A-A Aradas collides with the dreadnaught, and destroys it. Soon, all the adzgari vessels are destroyed, but the patrolling backup fleet enters the sytem, and the remaining Zidigar vessels take out the azdaras, then the aradas go after the Adzgari aradas, and the zidaras go after the 5 warships that enter. The majority of REDchigh's fleet retreats when their shield get to 10%, so the losses are low. After the Adzgari vessels are destroyed, the Zidagar vessels that retreated warp back in to clear out wreckage and plunder all the disabled vessels. Casualties are as follows:
ADZGARI:
4 Acw
30 Adzgari aradas
32 Azdaras

REDchigh vessels:
4 Zidaras
1 Zidagar dreadnaught
16 Zidigar fighters
4 A-A Aradas (one because of a collision w/ the dreadnaught, three were destroyed by turrets)

Profits to REDchigh:
32.8M credits
45 tons of luxury goods = 20,250 credits
70 tons of food = 24,500 credits

REDchigh and about half of his fleet warp out, and the other half captures the planet and stays to guard qeris. Current status in qeris- No adzgari Vessels, 8 Zidara, 10 additional fighters, 5 A-A aradas. REDchigh warps back to his base.

Captain: please change the status of the govt on your map.

Titan, if you'll look at the end of redchigh's post that you quoted, you'll see that he said "co-commander", not "commander".

MODERATION:
It looks like it's time for my first post as assistant co-moderator. About the Andalite posts, my opinion is that stuff based on the Animorphs book series (a series which I, and possibly many others here, have never read) does not particularly belong in an EVO web story, unless Andalite can find a way to explain (or summarize) where his race came from, what they want to achieve, and what technology they have (in terms of EVO standards, like ship stats and controlled systems, etc...). Unless he can do so, then I don't see how we can fit it into the story, and the only other option would be to revoke it in part or in whole. That's my opinion, but as it stands I'll defer the decision to Daedalus, since he is the original moderator.

CONTINUATION:
Thunder was shocked to hear of the seismic destruction of Meria. The latest planet to join the Kayan Alliance had gone up in smoke, litteraly. The survivors were welcomed on Feviry, the neighboring system, which gladly opened it's arms and it's homes to the wave of refugees. Having had the Spacial Flux Enhancer installed on his ship, Thunder took off from Tidibat and set course for Feviry, to help with the refugees.

And then, suddenly, the Azdgari back up fleet entered the system. The Zidagar were surprised. They didn't think about any back up fleet. The Azdgari fleet consisted of three AWs, which immediately launched their fighters and opened fire. As the battled raged on, with the Zidagar still having the upper hand, another back up fleet hyperspaced into the system. This time it was two AWs. Then, the third and final back up fleet (two AWs) hyperspaced into the system. The Zidagar were swarmed by the massive amount of Azdaras and warships, and soon they were forced to retreat, leaving Qierd still in Azdgari hands.

Redchigh, these three backup fleets came from the following systems:
Yerdor (Azdgari base which you forgot about)

DSN-4922

All of these systems had defense fleets, and those fleets heard the distress signal from the Qierd outpost, and thus came in the backup fleets.

50 Zidara's decloak in the qeird system, they clash with the azgari defender, after 20 minutes the Azgari fleet was destroyed and the Qeird recaptured. Titan starts designing a new outfit that will stop ships from warping out of a system. This is my last post of the day, I probely won't get back on until afternoon sunday.

In DSN-2015, a Kayan patrol was flying through the system when they happened upon strange readings near the fringes of the system, way out beyond where anyone would normally fly. They headed for the source, and found a battered station, which was identified as UE Listening Post 2D. Obviously it had survived the Voinian occupation of UE space, though it was badly damaged, with several hull breaches and all it's systems down. The Kayan patrol docked with the station, and using a portable power cells managed to re-activate the computer system and download the files stored there.

Back on their ships, the Kayans review the files. They detail the downfall of Humanity, through a series of long range sensor readings and message pod records. The Kayan militia immediately brings further ships into the system, preparing to repair the station and use it as a Kayan outpost between Hirinx and Feviry. They estimate that full repairs will take 450,000 credits and will take 2 weeks.

On Feviry, helping with the refugees from Meria, Thunder hears of the news from DSN-2015 when a Militia ship flies into the system. When presented with the findings, Thunder opens a comm channel to Daedulus.

The Kayans have recently encountered a derelict UE listening post, and managed to download what remained of it's computer files. They contain information about how the Voinians captured the Human worlds, one by one, until the downfall of Sol itself. Also, some of the later sensor readings contain information about which planets large numbers of Humans were being kept on by their Voinian captors. Since you have taken it upon yourself to free Humanity, I felt the information could be of use to you. I have attached a copy of the files to this message.

2-UE Listening Post 2E is in the DSN-4634 system, and that system is controlled by the Voinians, which mean that the Voinians ALREADY control UE Listening Post 2E, so you could never get near it
3-Daedalus has freed a few UE systems peacefully, but he has now promised to never take over any more former-UE systems from Nova6

It might be too late if Andalite already got ran out of here, but about four months ago i started a Yeerk/andalite plug-in. the project was abandoned but i ended up writing a pretty thick plot to merge the Yeerks into EVO. I don't know if this will accomplish anything, but i finally have a reason to post my plot...

In the beginning, there were the andalites. They are like intergalactic police. They try to do whatever is the best for the galaxy.
Andalites' govt' is based on princes. There are lots of princes, but no kings (to my knowledge) All of these races have no armor and lots of shields.

Yeerks are from the planet between the miranu, Voinian, and UE space. the one with the "primitive race" that planet used to be the home planet of the yeerks, but the yeerks abandoned it after it ran out of minerals, and ran amnesia machines on the race, so they basically started over, as far as IQ is concerned. Andalites went to the yeerks homeplanet, and gave them technology b/c they felt sorry for them.

Anyway, yeerks are parasites, that can control any member of any race (exept voinians- i'll get into that later) they completely control that body, and the persons brain is still there, realizing that they can't do anything about what they are doing. seeing, feeling, everything that happens, but not able to control it. The only way to remove a yeerk is to kill the host, and that is unpopular. Yeerks cannot control the Voinians, because of their skull structure, so the yeerks and Voinians made a pact. Any planets the Yeerk/voinian order conquers, yeerks get the resorces and 3/4 of the inhabitants. the voinians get 1/3 of the inhabitants, the land, and the publicity. Half of the Voinians' empire was captured this way, until the Voinians developed space mines. Yeerks knew they were a bad idea, but the Voinians wouldn't listen, so the Yeerks started exploring, spreading, and conquering.

The yeerks started the strand war, so the strands would be distracted and easier to capture. The yeerks control about 30% of all the strands, 10% of the Miranu, 40% of UE, and 5% of all renegades (b/c they don't affiliate with anyone). The yeerks Either Destroyed or captured all of the animorphs races, exept the skrit-na, which evolved into the Miranu. (Skrit-na were the ones with the fully-circular ships.) Um.. what else...
The yeerks are mad at Humans b/c they are starting to find out about them, and they must be destroyed, and because they arew starting to become like the Andalites.- Intergalactic police. Council station has a high percentage of yeerks, that is why they hate UE too. If i got anything wrong andalite, let me know.

Daedalus stopped to watch it for a bit when he was suddenly engulfed in light. He had little time to think before his atoms joined the Universe forever as the star went nova.

the Adzgari send reinforcements to Re-attack qerid. The Zidigar fight bravely, and stay , bt they are eventually run out of the system, at great cost to the Adzgari.

Meanwhile, while the adzgari had their ships attacking qerid, REDchigh, w/ his escorts/ and 10 A-A aradas, Attack and free andalite. They also steal 5M credits from the adzgari prison, and then they retreat back NT space. Andalite starts to explain the secrets to REDchigh, and REDchigh asks about being the leader of the council of thirteen....

Lonevoinian's Voinian Dreadnaught was hyperspacing to Mira to try out one new weapon of the Voinians. When he got there, he fired at the planet. It was supposted to cause the planet to turn into a ball of magma. But it didn't. The force was too much, and the planet exploded, sending huge chunks of Rock and Magma at Lone's ship.

"Sir! Shields are down! And a huge piece of the crust is heading at the bridge!" "****! Turn, fire all weapons!" "It's too late! It's going to hi..." the rest of the Ensign's sentance was cut off my the crunching of metal an shattering of glass. The rock went compleatly through the bridge, crushing many of the crew. Lonevoinian heard a roaring sound, and relized that the air was rushing out. And he was with it. He took a quick breath, hopeing to survive as long as possible. But the lack of pressure just caused his lungs to explode, spraying blood, which froze instantly, into the vacume of space. Then all the water in his cells froze, and Lonevoinian, commander of half the Voinian fleets, exploded, all his liquid in his body turn to ice. All that was left of him was a small field of ice, wiped out instantly by a blob of Magma shooting past.

Okay, I guess that makes me moderator then, that is if there's enough of us left to keep the story going. Maybe now the posts will start coming in less often though... Since the job is too big for just one person, I'd like to appoint Captain Carnotaur as co-moderator, if he'll accept. He's already got the map going, so it only seems natural that he'd be the choice to help with the moderating, if he's willing.

Carnotaur, that was very hippocritical. You say you agree with me and then post the exact sheer amount of information i am protesting.

I did review this page and believe i have discovered the problem. Altogether there is too much posting, but over 60% is from Thunder (i did not include moderations) and Redchigh (who has one of the smallest roles). I think if these two could take notice to not post as much i might be able to come back to the story and it could progress. However, i didn't even waste the time to review four pages of posts i was not participating in. I don't know why Carnotaur thinks i need to be in the story if he and the rest of you can't slow down long enough to allow those that, may i say, have an outside life for at least an hour or two during the day participate.

Anyway, the rule is that aside from the event of major action (not moving forces or talking, but large battles, main conflicts, etc.) after one player's post all other players must post before that person can post again unless a moderator progresses the story without them. I assume that even though i'm gone, Thunder will expect you to abide by the same rules <chuckle>.
