I am starting a new research project: Temporary Biological suspension pods (TBSP's)

These can be launched inside missiles, bombs, shells, etc. They set a form of temporary bio-suspension over all organic life forms near the blast. They will be used to suppress crews aboard ships in combat, or people on a planet. They need to be large to be effective against a large group of people, however.

This is a top secret project and no one can take my idea.

ok fine- my Aradas won't have my phase beams on'em.
REDchigh invests 10M of Zidigar and 10M of renegade credits to produce more of his beamers.

Redchigh still upgrades his renegade aradas though, they have 5 phase beamers, one dispy rocket launcher, and 15 Dispy Rockets.
Same shields and armor, upgraded turn rate.
(simple RCS upgrade- NOT a new technology...)

REDchigh calls his new aradas the Anti-Azdaras. One arada can easily take out about 9 azdaras. REDchigh Gets 10 of the 25 Zidigar dreadnaughts from titan, takes them to a classified location, and arms them with his beamer.

Everything legal now???

since no one posted a defense against my domination and its been up for a while (A day i think), i think i now have pozdag. Most of my fleet moves on to Yerdor, but some stays behind for defense.

Titans Zidara fleet decloakes infront of the moon veltes in the Azgari system, and the fleet fires the missles, all life on veltes was destroyed. This is perfectly legal because the Azgari can't detect the cloaked Zidara's so he can't prepare a defense.

Now the massive forces see the Zidaras and the larger Azdgari force vapes every one easily. Detox gear is sent to Veltes to rescue all equipment, and the capital is soon set again up on Classified. PS My TBSP project is almost complete.

The refugees from Kayia and South Tip Station flood into other Kayan worlds. On Tidibat, the newly appointed capitol of the Kayan Alliance, Thunder and the Militia leaders put a bold plan into action. They spend 2 million credits to manufacture a very large number of Defense Pods, to augment the supplies they already have. They then split the defense pods up into five equal groups. After locating the precise exit points of the hyperspace links in their systems, they deploy the defense pods at the exit points to the following five hyperlinks:

1. In Bakoom, blocking the hyperspace link from DSN-5651to Bakoom
2. In DSN-5553, blocking the hyperspace link from Sique to DSN-5553
3. In Unobot, blocking the hyperspace link from Malago to Unobot
4. In Tidibat, blocking the hyperspace link from Nifal to Tidibat
5. In Duios, blocking the hyperspace link from Groned to Duios

The defense pods are set so that only Kayan ships (Those with Kayan transponders, Kayan ship designs, Kayan clearance codes, and Kayan shield frequencies) can pass through the blockade. The number of defense pods deployed at the exit point of the hyperspace links is sufficient to oblitherate an entire armada. As a result, Bakoom, Tidibat, Unobot, and Duios are now inaccessable to all but Kayan ships.

Also, Thunder meets with several of the scientists at the Colonial University of Tidibat and asks them to help him construct a design he had dreamed up for a Spacial Flux Enhancer. This device would be able to amplify the natural fluctuations in the fabric of space.

"Why do you want us to build this?" They reply, "It has no practical use. It can't be used as a weapon, it can't be used as an energy source, and has no other uses that come to mind. It's only merit is scientific curiosity!"

"I know that." Thunder replied. "But you're a university. It's your job to have scientific curiosity. I will transfer 150,000 credits to the university account. That should cover construction costs."

"We'll begin construction immediately." the scientist replied, shocked. "This will make an excellent engineering project for our high-level graduate students to work with us on..."

One problem, Arada pilot- the gas is like a fog- so it condenses on everything. Take it off the planet, and it'll evaporate. take computers off the planet, and solar winds will erase all the hard drives (still use magnetic media...heh heh) true, you can scavenge most of the things by washing them off, but unfortunately, your current project was destroyed. Don't worry though, you can always start over...

one thing about those defense pods- those systems are full of asteroids- the defense pods will be used up in a couple hours. Even if you have a million, you'll have to keep making, buying, and launching more pods when the old ones expire or hit an asteroid or drift away...

Aboard the Storm, Thunder reflects on recent events as he absent-mindedly watches several Kayan aradas fly to and fro delivering additional defense pods to reinforce the blockades.

"Daedulus never responded to my message about the massacre of Kayia, or about the anti-Voinian technology he said he was developing." He thought. "A true ally would have done so. I wonder if he might have had an alterior motive in his call for an alliance with my people. I never was sure he could be trusted. Perhaps my fears are warranted. I'll have to keep close tabs on his actions. And I'll definately have to scrap the plan to adapt our sensor upgrade technology for use on ships of other governments. It's far to valuable to give away unless I'm absolutely sure I can trust the recipient..."

Thunder then turned to his comm unit and opened a comm channel.

Only Kayan ships will be able to get through. If you need to enter any of these systems, land on one of the Kayan systems outside the blockade and we will alter your ships so you can temporarily pass through the blockade.

Also, the Voinian fleet that attacked Akrahyek couldn't have gotten very far, considering how slow their ships are. Some of the cruisers suffered massive damage at the hands of our defenders. If you want to attack them, perhaps raid them or even capture or destroy a few of them, please go right ahead. If you do, remember to use the superior speed of your ships to your advantage.

The fleet which attacked Akrahyek is staying in the Akrahyek system. And remember, I am sending reinforcements to help them. And it is very hard to capture Voinain ships.

Aboslutely wrong. I just went into EVO, where I flew through the systems in question. Here are the stats:

Tidibat: 0 asteroids
Duios: 0 asteroids
DSN-5553: 0 asteroids
Unobot: 0 asteroids
Bakoom: 0 asteroids

As you can see, there are no asteroids in any of the systems where the blockade is in place.

Since the defense pods have been place in stationary positions, they will not drift away.

As you can see, there will be no need to replace them.
