How big is the defence fleet for Igadzra? I'm trying to conquer it right now but it's taking SO FREAKIN' LONG!!!! So how many Igazras are there?

why you tryin' to 'hate' on the igazras? they my homies man! just like the voinians! a frigate w/ SAE's rocks, but anyway

what kinda ship you got to get the Igazras? i tried w/ every ship i could think of- Voinian cruiser,frigate igazra, UEcruiser, adzgari warship (was too easy b/c the # of ships limit for the system was passed)

only ship i can think of that could have a chance against 50 something igazras would be an azdara w/ dospect armor, and that would take FOREVER!

I use a UE Cruiser (reading from extras part of my game)

A UE Fighter bay, 5 UE Fighters, a layer of Dospect armor, a needle jammer, a nebula penetration device, two external fuel tanks, an escape pod, a density scanner, an IFF decoder, an afterburner, a sensor upgrade, 5 phase turrets, two fuel scoops, a thrust upgrade, 4 shield enhacers, an engine upgrade, a mass expansion, a shield generator, an ECM system, a RCS upgrade, an Azdgari upgrade, three pursuit missile launchers, 95 pursuit missiles, a repulsor beam, and an expieramental generator

Plus I have these escorts:
2 Igazras
2 Zidaras
1 Crescent Warship
1 Azdgari Warship

I make 138,000 credits a day and have 215.25 million credits. I own all renegade systems (N. Tip, S. Tip, and human), all Voinian systems (except Voinia), all Zidagar systems (except Zidagar), all Igadzra systems (except Igadzra which I am conquering as we speak), Feviry, and Sumer.

Right now I been conquering for about 3 or 4 hours and I'm still at 100% fuel status and 97% shield status

(btw, I am NOT making this up!!)

I think there are the same number of Igazras protecting their home world as there are CWs protecting Council Station.

if you have 5 u.e. fighters, and an azdgari warship, c. warship, and 2 zidaras, i don't see how you could have any trouble dominating igadzra. before you start, tell your escorts to hold position and start disabling aradas or igazras until no new ships jump in. then go to the edge of the system, launch your fighters, tell your escorts to return to formation, and then demand tribute. the escorts (with the exception of your slow igazras) will deal with most of the defense fleet, and keep sending your fighters after the nearest enemy (i.e., hit 'r' then 'f' in succession). very few, if any, igazras will get through.

i take that back. for some reason, my escorts seem loathe to launch their fighters when i'm trying to dominate planets. ditch your escorts (except maybe the zidaras) and go hire 6 aradas, c. fighters, or kraits.

n.b. caps lock helps tremendously, but do not increase the game speed, as it will shorten the range of your escorts' weapons, leaving more work for you.

I still extremely doubt that the defense fleet is 5000 Igazras... I'll e-mail andrew or Matt Burch to find out becuase that would just damn near impossible or it would take so long you wouldn't care after a while
