      A newbie question if ever I saw one. I'll answer it anyway. The monty pithon manuver is when you turn your ship around and "run away" from your enemy (hence the name) while fireing your turrets or guns. Because of a glitch in the computer AI, the enemy ship won't fire at you while you're moving away from it, even if you're in range. Hope that answer's your questions.

      Yeah, I haven't had much difficulty with with version 1.02. The only trouble I've had is with the new ai having afterburners, which is a fun challenge.

      You're right, it is more of a challenge with smarter AI and no longer being able to destroy ships faster than yours with no trouble at all with the monty python.
