I have recently begun to work for the Igazra in order to be able to do the nebula exploration missions, thus allowing me to use f-25. I am currently on the mission in the string where you have to use the plasma siphon to try to destroy an Azdgari warship. The only problem is that the plasma siphon is installed onto my arada, which seems to be having troubles taking on the warship. I'm wondering if I should buy a more powerful ship, thus losing the plasma siphon, or do something else in my current arada. Any suggestions welcome.

Yeah, I know that I don't have to work for them directly to get the exploration missions. However, when I searched for it, some of the people said that you had to deliver the
<classified> to Igarza before you could get the missions at Station Pybin. I just assumed that you had to complete the rest of that Igarza string as well.

worry not, the plasma syphon will now be on any ship you purchase. It is transferable.

Okay, thanks for the help. I have now destroyed the warship, as well as completed the rest of the Igadzra string, allowing me to purchase the mighty Igadzra warship. I have also done a couple escort missions from Igadzra to Miranu space. After completing these, I went to Station Pybin in search for the nebula missions, but to no avail. Is there something else that I need to do first (I have an "excellent" combat rating and "decent individual" legal status in the Miranu territory)? Thanks.

I'm not exactly sure, but I can tell you that you do NOT have to do ANY missions for the Igadzra just to get the NPD missions. True, it involves the Igadzra, but only in a slight sense. As for getting the Nebula Exploration Missions, I really have no idea. Sorry.

Alright... just to clarify.... yes, the NPD missions start on Kitrak, same as the Igadzra missions. Yes, you need to do something with the Iggies to start the NPD missions, but that is a totally seperate thing from the Strand War objective. You can work for any of the strands and still get the NPD missions.

The thing is, the miranu need some technology from the iggies, and that's why you have to travel to the iggy homeworld and examine a strange asteroid for them. After that, you get your stuff, and that's the last you hear from the iggies... (well.... not quite. But, you'll see)

Flatty's Ghost is right. You have to first be a member of the MTC (if you aren't go to Blaga), then do the Kitrak bit, then go to Station Pybin. On top of all that, you must have an utlimate combat rating.

Just to clarify: the first mission in the NPD string starts on any Miranu world, not just Kitrak. Thus saith ResEdit.
