      Independent what? Human or strandless? The humans have their own line of ships (Turncoat etc.), while the commonplace crescent ships seem to fit the strandless just fine.

      Hmm, now that you mention it, I seem to recall a paramilitary strandless organisation in the South Tip that fights pirates... they could use a special ship, or at least a specially equipped stock ship. Maybe introduced in a short mission string...

      BTW, I adjusted a few flaws on the Windrider. It now has a decent amount of armor, and a heavier price tag to reflect the fact that it's tougher than an Arada. (On the other hand, it's got less combattant potential than the latter.)

      PS: I betatested a ship duelling method I originally devised for the balancing of Mille Terrae ships, by pitching a Zachira against Renegade CWs and Laziras. It turns out the Zachira wins against the Lazira every time, while it seems to be infinitesimally superior to the renegade CW. I've seen a CW win with 18% shields, and I've seen the Zachira win with 60%... it all depends on how the fighters and capital ships engage each other.

      As for sensor interference, I noticed the Zachira performs better against the Lazira on a clear day (pursuit missiles). The effect doesn't show up with the CW, since it uses SADs that are foiled likewise by the interference.

      If you give the igadzra a new ship it should have a turreted dispersal rocket launcher to help them against fighters.

      Hey Cinga.

      Nice ships man. I think something like an Igadzra Frigate would make a lot of sense. Are you putting any missions into this for realism or just sticking them into dudes? I wouldn't mind helping in any way I can, but I'm afraid I don't have any graphics skills. Sorry. :frown:

      Also, what about a Zachit Carrier? A miranu heavy freighter modefied to carry a fighter bay, a few weapons and armour upgrades. Make it a darker blue maybe. Just an idea.

      I already have the Zachira to carry Zachit fighters. It seems to me that the Zachit would prefer the aggressive and agile Lazira over a converted heavy freighter. Another reason why I used the Lazira is that it plays a rather marginal role in original EVO. IMHO, it's a cool ship and deserves more appreciation.

      A MHF with a Crescent fighter bay and tons of SADs (or defpods, but I don't know whether the AI can use them) would be an interesting idea for a Pirate ship, though... especially as part of a raiding fleet...

      wow... the first time I attacked a Zachira, I nearly craped my pants... our pops those fighters who shoot their pursuit missiles, and then the Zachira fires ITS missiles, and then the fighters swarm me... man, oh man. The first time I did it, I was blown to pieces. There were 2 Zachiras and many Zachit Aradas in the system... I died fast.

      Looks good, but not really Igazra (apart from the colours) or really even Crescent. Crescent ships tend to be more...organic, and not so metallic. It would be a great UE, Human Renegade or even Voinian ship (if you changed the colour) but not really crescent. Nice try though. 🙂
