I often go to Flatty's don't click here thingy just to test how fast my Cmd-W skills are. If you manage to close the original window, it goes away (at least for me). Of course, don't ever try it in Windows.

AAAHHH! That isn't even remotely funny! Anyhow, my computer didn't crash so :p. I had to force-quite IE, but it still didn't crash. I went back and tried to "test my reflexes". I guess it doesn't work if you know what your doing... BTW, don't listen to goomeister. It's command-w, not command-option-w!

command+w closes the window that's up front. command+option+w closes all windows.

I think that your "Closing Time..." script is best. Even if I manage to close the original window before it finishes loading, I still get a type 2 error.

With your scripting abilities, you might put them to productive use, instead of making computer-crashing scripts. Would be a lot nicer to poor dolts who click on any and all links they see in signatures.
