      Before you say it, yes I searched 🙂

      Anyways, I resently purchased a Zidara and traveled back to Voinia. I began purchaseing a Neutron Turret. I bought one, but after that it said I couldn't have any more. I was puzzled since I had only that one turret, more than enough money, and more than enough space. Yet it still said I could only have one. I checked, and the turret limit is 3. I also tried to buy a Phase Turret (along with the Neutron) and I couldn't. Anyone know why this is happening?

    • Remember that a turret uses up both a turret and a forward gun slot (as of 1.0.1 according to the histories, I think). So, if you already have a bunch of forward guns mounted you won't have one free for the turret.

      Wait, does that come with a beam turret? I seem to remember something about a turret that took up two turret spots. Oops. Close, and this may explain it. The CelticStarbase web site (sorry if I got the capitalization wrong) claims that the Zidagar phased beam cannon takes up two slots. So, does the twice number of phased beam cannons plus the one turret account for the number of guns allowed?

      Positive. 75 tons of space should be enough for a 30 ton turret 🙂

      I have 0 forward guns. I have 1 turret. I should have 2 slots left but I don't :frown:. Plus I have v. 1.0.0

      The Zidara comes with 2 Phase Beamers. I still have those... is that the problem? That wouldn't make much sense though since the Zidara comes with 2 Phase Beamers and 2 Phase Turrets. So I should still have at least 1 slot left. Any ideas?

      Yes, the beamers do count as guns. And yes, the slot overcharging really doesn't make sense. And yes, there is a remedy: Download the Advance plug! It corrects the Zidara's gun slots from 3 to 5.

      I think I remember something about the Zidagar coming with more guns than it can nominally carry. So, don't assume that the original configuration conforms to the limits (and thus, you may not be able to get back to the original configuration after you have customized it).

    • I always hated how the turrets took up both a gun space and a turret space. Maybe i'll change that in my "The New Frontier" plug-in which i'm working on right now.
