For some reason it won't let me load my saved file. When I click load at the intro it freezes and I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete(I have Windows) to get out of it. Also, new games will work just fine. When I was at the part where the people want you to destroy the 10 cyclops I saved every time I killed one. Then one time I died and tried to reload it, it froze. Everything is fine until I try to load my file. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

Welcome to the boards, Gojita. Do you have more that one saved game, or did you keep saving over the old game each time? If you have more than one, does each freeze? I'm not a Windows player, but there are others here who I am sure will try to help. If you can post as many details about this as you can it will help in the solution. Thanks. When I was at the cave where you rescue the General(when he is turned into the guy w/ a red sword) I had multiple saved games incase I saved inside the cave and then had a rough time getting out so then I had multiple ones. But then when I got out of the cave I deleted the others. When I am fighting the cyclops I only have one which I keep saving over everytime I kill one. After about the 7th or so time of dieing and saving, It froze when I tried to load it up again. I tried copying my saved file and playing that one, but it did the same thing.

A couple further questions for you:
Were you ever able to load a saved game? Or did you continually save but never have an opportunity to load a game?
Can you double-click on your saved game and have PoG launch/load your saved game?
What version of PoG are you running? 1.0? 1.0.2?
What OS are you running PoG under? 95/98/98SE/2000/NT/ME/XP?
Have you tried rebooting your machine and trying again? Yes, it sounds odd, but it has been my experience that 96.73% of windows problems get 'fixed' with a reboot(yes, that percentile is accurate).
Let us know the answers to your questions, and if any of the above work please let us know as well.

Out of curiousity what is the size of the saved game file you have?
My fear is that something went fubar with your last save, horking up your saved game file. Meaning that it may not be recoverable, and since it is your only saved game file that you have it will mean starting over...
