Sounds quite all right. Go for it!!
After all the hassle the Voinians have been giving me (and obviously all the other merry fortune-seekers in EVO space!) I find it rather disappointing that once the UE/Voinian string is finished, all that's left to finish off the Voinians is dominating them, and that function I find f*cking boring. OK, you get good dosh, but that's also available elsewhere.
If it were possible to actually set up your own proper government once you're Overlord of a planet, that would be a completely different matter.
So, yeah, let's bash those bastards a little more!

If you made the "planetary defense" ship 1x1 pixel, it would be damn near impossible to hit, and that would suck. You'd have to make it a transparent ship the size of the planet.... can you imagine the blaze turret against the 1x1 pixel? 1 in 30 would hit :frown:
