    • [ANN] The Four Mages website has switched servers. Goodie.

In the light of the imminent closing of free iTools webspace, I have switched (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/wolvenstudios/")Wolven Studios(/url) to the (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/")EVula.org(/url) server. The iTools site will remain until my membership explodes, but it won't be updated anymore unless I have the time.

I have been using EVula.org for a while (I actually did the server-switching grunt work at the beginning of September), and I've found it to be an excellent host, with two visible exceptions: banners and the Navigation Table. They're pretty ugly (especially the black banner—ick!) but that's the common price for free hosting, and I don't have the time or motivation to find another host and switch a third time.

This is not the last server switch. In a few months, I hope to switch to webspace used for a family-owned business (the idea has been temporarily rejected for access reasons). Until then, enjoy the TFM goodness and funky URL!

    • TFM Progress Log:
      Quests 65%
      Items 40%
      Maps 75%
      Spells 50%
      Artwork Who knows?*
      Average Progress 57.5%

      • I can't say for sure. If I had to take a guess, I'd say 80%. However, I make artwork as I need it. Something might very well crop up unexpectedly that would require me to make a lot of graphics for a while.

      Lets see, 65+40+75+50+80=310. 310 divided by 5=62

That would mean that your Average Progress is 62%.

Wouldn't it be nice just to let him get on with his project? I'm sure it will be ready when he's done, and it will be worth the wait.

Yes, yes, I know. It's fun to prove a much more experienced webboard member wrong, however.

Your equation fails to take into account the undisclosed progress of TFM. Many things are less complete, but not listed. So Cafall is right once more. In conclusion, I present this poignant analogy:

Cafall : Tanis :: Omnipotent and benevolent deity : Unworthy pond scum.

Thank you for your time. 🙂

Consider. If passion rules our reasoning, and we are ruled by logic, we are all simply unwitting slaves to emotion, pretending to be greater than what we truly are.

    • Tanis:

The reason my overall progress is "wrong" is because I didn't take the art percentage into account in my math, since it's just a guess anyway.

About the banners: all of them are black because there are only three, one for each evula. domain, and all three sites have black backgrounds. I hope to get some more varied banners (ones that actually fetch me something) soon.

About the Navigation Table: (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/table/")evula.org/table/(/url) Pick one that better fits your site, then copy the code below it onto your page and it'll work like a charm.

And Celchu—dampeoples is right. Thank you for defending me, but still—watch your mouth! 😉

Oddly enough, as I was making the one you currently use I thought of your site. 😉

Also, it would probably be good for you to check out the (url="http://"http://forums.evula.com/viewforum.php?f=16")evula.org news(/url) board of my Forums, as that's where announcements such as this take place. Yes it's another board to keep track of, but its good to be kept in the loop on such things. 😉

That's a compliment to me, I hope you know. 🙂

Don't worry Cafall, it'll turn into a flame war if anything. 😉

But because of impatience, impertinence, impropriety, imprudence, and impiousness of some impractical imps, the impact is to impair and impede the improvement of this impassioned improvisation. I implore you not to imperil this impending plug.
