    • Babylon 5 turret problem

Hmmmh. I've only just joined, and already I'm plastering the Board with all sorts of stuff.

      Just started on Babylon 5.
With 2 different ships, I wanted to buy neutron turrets, and the credits for them were taken off my account, but they don't show up in my 'extras' directory, and they don't fire, either - they just don't seem to be there at all.
Simplest answer to this problem can be ruled out from the start: Yes, I did target the opponents!

Is this a bug or a version incompatibility or is there a game-related reason to this?

      ------------------

    • that happened in the star wars plug-in too

    • Well, at least it doesn't seem to be my little calculating box.
Because with a tiny plug-in (don't remember the name) that only added ships & weapons, I encountered something similar.

Zhouj, did you manage to fix it in Star Wars?
(Don't give me any techno babble, please - I'm no programming whizzkid, just a simple user, I don't even know the most basic aspects of plug-in creating!!)

Or otherwise: anyone else out there who encountered the problem and knows how to solve it?

      ------------------

    • Did you buy the turrets or did they come on a ship?

If they came with a ship, then the turrets are probably missing outfit resources which the EVO engine will take them away if they don't have corresponding resources. Mainly the outfits resources. Yes yes...techno blabble...so I'll put it in easy form...ask someone to fix it for you.

      PEACE YO!

    • Nope. I bought them to enhance crappy little ships.

Thanks anyway. Probably the best solution to get someone to have a hack at it.

    • Grab the EVO Bible and take a look at the oütfs in the plug. Never know what you might find...
