Ok, I was screwing around, getting the new interface for Quantmire SE to work, and was doing a rapid succession of option/control/command/ and/or shift clicking up on the title. All of a sudden, my computer said to me, "Greetings Professor Falcon. Would you like to play a game?" You know, like when you have it speak text in SimpleText. Now, I know damn well that this did not come from ResEdit, the Finder, or Photoshop (the other 3 open apps at the time). I can not get EVO to do it again, either. Did I just stuble upon another egg?

That egg has been known for a while now...I remember knowing about it from the old escape-velocity.com (before 2 redesigns). You can only do it once...I don't know why, or what it does. The line is from Wargames, I think.

Its just shift click on the title, yes i've known about this for a long time, its in both EV and EVO, and it only works once each time you open the game.

As for editing it, heres what simpletext actually says:
Greetings professor Follkinn. Would you like to play a game?

I changed mine to be:
Greetings professor Chamrin . Would you like to play a game?
*Note, if you do this, since it is in the data fork it must contain the exact same number of characters as the original, otherwise it won't work. As for editing, I would really recommend you edit a copy of EV/O first, and also, you'll need something that can edit data forks, which is something regular resedit can't do.
