I am a conjurer, and I would like to know where to get potions that restore magic points.

Hi mithrandir, Welcome to the boards. You can purchase magic potions from a wandering salesman, Isemir, who you will find on the road betweem Fantrima and Berglum. You cannot predict where he will be in advance, but when you enter a square where he is a screen pops up telling you that you hear whistling in the distance and the "camera" pans to him and back to you. (It's a neat effect.) You can also buy potions from Gewin the Herbalist who has a house covered in flowers located three squares north of Fantrima. If you would like a map of the Kingdom, there is a link in the signature below.

      Good luck with your game
      Edit for typo, naughty fingers!

Isemir is located in 2 spots(maybe a third, I forget, heh) along the road: 2 north of Fantrima just above that loooooong bridge that spans the chasm, and 1 west of Gwyden Camp. Isemir is placed through the use of a simple random global which is rolled when the zone is loaded. So if you want to find Isemir really bad, just go to one of those 2 areas listed above and if he doesn't appear leave and re-enter the area. Continue until he shows up; it shouldn't be long.

Also, aren't magic potions sold in the Mage tower? Lord knows I've spent enough time in there lately that I should know, but I haven't looked. heh. But it would seem logical that it would. If not, then maybe I'll need to add a few...

      Good luck Mr. Mithrandir.

Also 3 north of Fantrima, and in the square west of the bridge where the killer ookwasps were. That's at least 4 spots.

I sensed that Mr. Mithrandir was not ready for the mage tower yet, of course they are available there too.

    • I believe that the merchant in Fantrima also sells them. If she does, then someone in Berglum probably sells them too.

Sorry Tanis, but if Karolynna in Fantrima sold magic potions then Mr. Mithrandir would not have had to ask where to get them.

Only a few minutes after I posted that, I checked it out for myself and found it to be untrue. :frown:

Actually, my Conjurer just got the Black Tooth and he hasn't used nor bought a single magic potion. Now, I'm off to find Kalixa and activate the Witch Finger tunnel entrance. That is, after I find the dark fairy and get Heldan's Hat. May the force be with me. 🙂

(Edit) Added the part about the dark fairy (Edit)
