    • Pointlessness of Dernath Rewards

After you free Dernath, you can choose between three rewards:

      1.300 Gold. Worth-300 Gold.

      2.A good night's sleep and a meal(Refills life). Worth-20 Gold(At Fantrima).

      3.No Reward(Diadem of Stone). Worth-1500 Gold(At Gwyden Camp).

Obviously, the best reward is the final reward. This is simply a hint to anyone who has yet to choose a reward for freeing Dernath. Anyone else have any hints???

I wouldn't label these pointless. The obvious point is that altruism has its rewards.

Altruism? I am guessing that that means not wanting a reward or something similiar. Of course they aren't pointless, but I was showing people that the last choice is the best.

I believe it's something along those lines. I think it's doing something for the good of others without any thought of reward.

Some people may be greedy, and immediately take the gold without looking at the other choices. Others may be low on health, but have plenty of money, so they take a rest. Many people wouldn't want to go without a reward, and they may have actually thought that by saying "No reward" you would recieve nothing in adundance.

Hmmm....it appears that there are morals involved in PoG. The moral here is that sometimes, not choosing a reward is best. 🙂
