    • Miranu Gunship?

I coulda sworn there was a green gunship that I saw somewhere, but I haven't seen it in a long time, where is it, when does it show up, and is there a mission involved?

    • You get the mission that lets you buy the gunship at outpost Zachet. You have to do a LOT of "Kill renegades" missions to get them.

    • hmmmm... from what little I recall, I think you need to do the "Destroy the Rock" mission to get the Miranu Gunship to appear....

    • the miranu gunship is only avaliable after one of the Outpost Zachit missions and will only appear after that mission

    • Is the Miranu Gunship even worth the effort?

NO! Not in my opinion, anyway... The Miranu are a peaceful race, of course their first attempt at a fighter or warship will be terrible.

    • Correct. The Miranu Gunship is quite handy to have on your side during the Zachit missions during which it appears, but it really sucks if you use it yourself. It's pretty much a botched attempt to make a Lazira or Zidara type ship, but green and shaped differently.

Final judgement: Good as an escort (you could do better or worse though) but get something else to fly your own buttocks around in.

    • actually i thought it was pretty good. i took out lots of renegades in mine, aradas and laziras and crescent warships and stuff. the turrets it comes with are pretty handy agaisnt crescent fighters. i agree that its not that great, but it was a good step between the arada and the cw, and i think it is as good or better than the lazira.

      thats what i think, anyway

I agree with you, FC, but I've heard people argue that the Miranu Gunship was the best ship in the game, which, I assure you, it is not.

    • I like the Miranu Gunship. It has a good balance of speed, power, shields, space, and fuel. I use it after I do the Zachit missions if i'm not already in a better ship. It great for taking out renegade craft like Aradas. There are better ships out there, but I have a soft spot for the goofy-looking, but powerful, Miranu Gunship.

      ------------------

    • I think, even if you don't actually like flying the damn thing, it's worth doing the mission string specifically because it's there. It makes a change from 'Rush delivery to <somewhere>' and endless trading. So do it, enjoy it, try the little green dude out, and then get back in your CW, or Turncoat or whatever.

      (Only kidding about the Turncoat.)

    • the Miranu gunship is actually pretty good
if you upgrade it, it is awesome
an good pilot can probably kill a few Crescent Warships
or maybe even a voinian ship if properly upgraded

    • The gunship is pretty dorky-looking all right, and it's weaker than other warships in the Crescent, but I've kind of got a soft spot for the little ship. It's actually okay--it's about as good as a Lazira, in between the Arada and a Crescent Warship--and it's good to have as an escort or something. I got my MG escort when it got disabled during a mission I was doing. The Zachit weren't real happy about it, I'll bet, but I had done enough good stuff for them already that they didn't care any more.

      ------------------
I can't think of anything to write here.

    • I never even bothered to try for them. I like Aradas best because they handle like a fighter but are powerful. I might get one as an escort, but, then again, escorts are useless except for conquering.

Overall a nice ship, but very few people like a ship that style.

    • Personally, I love that ship. Not as a pilot but as an escort. There is nothing like watching six MGs let loose with SADs at a renegade CW.
