I think it would be nice if you could post a topic telling that you have deleted a topic, like my "russian firearms" question topic. Just post and tell why you deleted the topic, I think that would be nice. Now why was my topic removed? :rolleyes: Thanks.

It was probably deleted because you posted it on the wrong board. It has nothing to do with EVO. You should have posted it on the "just chat" or the "ev banter & brawl" board

Hey fellow moderators!

If you move something to another board, there is an option (before you move it) to tranfer the topic while closing it where it it (but leaving it there). What I have been doing is replying to the topic, explaining where and why I am moving it, and then using this "move topic while leaving a closed copy here" option.

I think this works. Give it a try, and I think people will be a bit happier.

I did it once. It works, but its not real pretty. When you click on the closed copy, it takes you to a white page were it tells you the board the topic has been moved to. This sorta disrupts the natural pattern of the boards.

Sorry Jude, I kind of agree with October Fost on this one. It still takes up space. But I guess I could do it if it seems like a good topic, just in the wrong spot, but most B&B; topics don't really need to have a closed version of them here.
