      I notice how the Elmalgha suck they are no match fo any ship except a shuttle so in the plug-in i'm makeing i took a UE carrier gave it the texture of the Elmalgha Warship insted of it haveing UE fighters it has a Elmalgha Fighters, also i doesn't have blaze turrets it has Elmalgha Turrets and insted of hunter missiles it has rockets. It's stats are...

      I think you've got the stats of the ship a bit high. The Emalgha warship has a top speed of 75... should their carrier be 166% faster?

      Also, the Emalgha carrier would suck if it had Emalgha cannon for its defensive armament... they're swivel guns, not turrets, and an AI ship would never turn to face a threat in time.

      ...since you name a price for this vessel, perhaps you want people to use it for a time. There are, of course, some ships that players might realistically want to use, and some that are there as targets, friendly cannonfodder, or scenery. I think anything the Emalgha build will be of the cannonfodder variety, if it's true to the original EVO story.

      I'd want to draw a whole new ship for the Emalgha to use as a carrier, perhaps based on two freighters welded together! Something cheap, simple, slow and yet rugged.

      I think that since EVO 1.0.2 it actually is a turret (the Emalgha Turret). Not completely sure but fairly sure.

      No, it's not a turret. It's a swivel cannon. just like the swivel phase cannon. It will lock on and hit its target if the front of your ship is within 90Ā° of the target....

      sorrey but who the hell would want to buy an emalgeur (how the **** do you spell it?) carrier, the UE carrier sucks so an em-something carrier would tottally suck!!!

      Actually the emelgha fighter is pretty cool for fighting voinians, you can take frigates without a second thought, dosent take too long either. Um, and the emelgha turret used to be only a front swivel, but i dunno about now. Why don't they have front AND back turrets?

      The stats aren't that stupid if you think about it, because it's based on a UE carrier, in theory it would have Human Technology in use so it would have roughly the same manouverability as a UE Carrier, it would just be brown and black instead.

      It's an Emalgha Turret in EVO 1.0.2. The Emalgha Warship has a blind spot to the rear, but I dunno if that only applies to the AI (I've never dared to fly that ship).

      Interesting thing is...

      ...way back up this string, someone (I think it was Mr. Richard the Voinian) pointed out that "prices are only relevant if the ship's one that good old <PN> will want to buy"... or something like that. He went on about "scenery" and "targets" - and it all made good sense.

      Except this.

      When you dissable a ship, you can nick it's credits.

      The ammount of credits available for nicking depends upon the value of the ship. So a Crescent Warship has more creds on board than a shuttlecraft. Right?

      So yes, there is a point in giving "target" ships prices...

      thats true. and also the EMALGHA(spell it right) warships have blind spots on the side and rear, so it is only a front turret for them, i know, cause i tried that ship once, i never will again

      Not all ships carry credits, whether they carry credits or not depends on the Dudes, e.g. Voinian ships don't carry credits.
