btw, Do you spell lothe with a lowercase L or an uppercase i. Just curious...

If you wanna become a Voinian, don't go rescuing defectors. Hang around Pax station, and check the bar often. Eventually, a Voinian motions you over to his table, and you're off. The first mission is really hard, though. Stick with it and eventually you'll be granted passage to some Voinian worlds. If you want more missions, hang around the bar at Vorik. (Ylynn Outpost) BTW, no clue about lothe.

Can you do the Voinian missions when you do the UE cargo runs?

It's Iothe, with an uppercase I. Iothe Ian is a Captain of Freeport, his name would make much more sense than "lothe lan".

To join the Voinians, you need to make some Lego models of their ships, rather than concentrating so heavily on the UE types. No wonder they don't trust you

Yes. I think you can do any of the CARGO missions in U.E. space. Though I'm not sure about F.E.

Go join FE, and when you get sick of them, download my QuitFE plugin, from the addons page, and ditch the useless b*stards. Definately worth it.

And you don't have to think of it as a cheat. In the game, your pilot should be able to resign. He shouldn't be stuck in that stupid cargo-job forever!

I have gotten the Steller corps. missions and the U.E. shipping missions and still got the voinian missions.

Uh-huh :rolleyes: Then how come the only race that can defeat the voinians at equal odds are humans, and that's only in the 1-on-1 battles. But all the strands and strandless (plus the voinians in the big battles) can defeat the u.e. on equal odds.

You should see my fully decked-out UE Cruiser destroy maybe half a dozen V. Frigates and three V. Cruisers in one battle! Ha, Voinians are the epitomization of evil (which reminds me of that evil guy from the movie Event Horizon!).

But you never see crusers in battle unless you own it. Besides I can do the same thing to destroyers and carriers with my V. Cruser. I bet an Igzarda could do it better, though.

Heh. I was offered the Voinian string when I rescued the defector from Pax (really) so I guess you can do that.
