    • which is better

between the UE ships and the Voinians, who is better
I personally think the UE ships are better, because they have guided weapons which actually hit their target, and they have decent shields and armour, they are fast and manveurable. the voinians ships are slow, unmanveurable and rockets that are easily dodged. the good thing they have is heavy armour but if you rescue the defector from Pax, you can get it too. but I have installed the Galaxy Class ship plugin and I kick some voinian ass with it

    • Depends on what you want. I myself shift between the Vs and Hs as quickly as you change socks....

I tell ya, I'm very proud that you can use a plugin to kick some voinian ass. congrats.

sheeeesh. Yes, in a computer AI battle, the UE Destroyer will kill a Voinian Frigate head on, despite the fact the the frigate has 250 armor, compared to around 100 shields on the Destroyer. It's because the Destroyer flies back and forth, and its blaze cannons hit the voinian every time, and get a lot of hits in. The Voinians' slow turrets make it hell to hit the destroyer and turning for them kinda sucks. But, that's computer AI, so, who cares?

    • I can kick voinian ass with a modified scoutship but using the galaxy class is easier and I am not cheating because I had to earn 29.5 million credits to get it but it was worth it

    • 29.5 mil? When I got it it was free. I was in a shuttle. Of course I deleted the plug and the pilot file. It was too easy.

    • No offence the vornian frigates are Cr@p I had one and almost got beaten by a freight carrier (first Vornian mission) it's guided weapons pounded me.

    • "Vornian" "Freight Carrier"....hmmm...

Well, I personally don't like either of them. I f I had to choose, I'd get the Voinian Frigate over the UE Carrier, since my fighter escorts were usually useless. PLus, give the frigate blaze cannons instead of neutron cannons, keeop the turrets, add another layer of armor, shield enhancers, and speed jets, and you have a ship more powerful than the Crescent Warship (that's not to say much) and a ship that can go up against the pathetic UE Cruiser.

    • I just get a crusier. Don't even bother with the frigets. I agree with everybody in saying that frigets suck.

IMHO, the real trick to making Voinian ships more powerful (and I wonder
why the Voinians have been too stupid to realize this) is to get rid of
the turret rocket launchers and replace them with conventional rocket
launchers. This frees up more turret slots and increases the overall
firepower of the ship, without relying any additional technology.

Turret rocket launchers are a very bad idea. If the Voinians ever wake up
to that fact, they will become a much more formidable menace to humanity.
I don't even know why I'm telling you this, since I live on Earth. UE
will probably classify this message in the interests of security.

    • The reason the Voinians have rocket turrets is because they're ships are so slow, because they have turreted rockets they don't have to waste time lining up a shot before hand like the UE do, if you took a UE destroyer and a Voinian Frigate and got them to fire Rockets at each other they would just about be able to do them at the same time but the Voinians might be a bit more accurate, if the voinian ship didn't have a turreted rocket it would end up firing way off target if both ships started turning at the same time from positions where they were facing away from each other.
