Welcome to the game Mr. Seihno. Your problem all comes down to talking to the right persons at the right time. One or more links in the chain of events is missing. You have to speak to Gen. Decimus (who you rescued from the swamp cave) and he will ask you to go to Dernath and Berglum. When you speak to the garrison commander, you have to mention his name. This is probably the link that's not yet completed.

Don't buy another termite, the first one was a waste of money! (Don't be upset, we all got sucked into the scam) Go talk to Ulrik in Gwyden Camp and ask for his help in building the barricades. He will send some of his men.

After you have done those quests, Septemris will send you on another before you can become a knight. This quest requires reaching the top level of the Learning Tree, which, in turn, means running some other errands for other persons.

If you want additional help, Stark Bledfast has written an excellent "Walkthrough and Compendium" which you can find a little further down on this web-board. It has almost all the answers to almost all the possible questions. If you go to his website, either bookmark it or print it if you want to have a handy reference manual for PoG.

      Good luck with your game

    • hi rubber ducky, and thank you for your answer!

Yeah, i speaked to rhe garrisson comander in Berglum and mentioned the name there. he send some men to the barricades. But in dernath there is just one soldier in the near of the city and 3 others near the water in front of the cyclops territorium.
When i speak to them there is not a option to tell them about decimus... why is that??

      Mr. Seihno,

Have you spoken with the mayor of Dernath since completing the quest? The mayor is the one who gives the quest to save Dernath, and the garrison commander will not send his men until this quest is complete. You must talk with the mayor after killing all of the cyclops who will thank you and give you a reward, and thus ending the quest. Once the quest is officially over then you can speak with the garrison commander who will release the soldiers if you speak in Decimus's name. The garrison commander, btw, is the soldier in the extreme west side of the village, next to the house with the red banners waving in the wind.

If you are still having problems, I would refer you to the section on (url="http://"http://www.avalon.net/~honda/pog/pogwalkthrough2a.htm#kn5")Warning the garrisons - Dernath Garrison part I(/url) in my (url="http://"http://www.avalon.net/~honda/pog/pogwalkthrough2a.htm")Walkthrough and Compendium(/url).

      Good luck.

    • I didn't because this is a serious game, not a joke, and unless the game was sort of comedic, there'd be no use for a termite!.....Unless.....
