    • Vionian Dreadnaught

When you fight the dreadnaught, it launches three rockets at once, and this ability seems to be omnidirectional(it would launch them in a spread, so one at least one would always hit). If you get the dreadnaught, does it have this ability?

Also, could someone please outline the UE Cruiser missions. Like where you go and what you need to do.

      Thanks in advance.

      sigh
this reminds me of when everyone was talking about the vonians, and how they just met the dreadnaught... and their new encounters during their missions with the UE... nice.....

    • I beg your pardon, what are you talking about. I wanted to know about the dreadnaught since I have never played the voinain missions, and I do not remember the details of the last time I played the UE Cruiser missions. All I remember is that I believe you first get it on huron(or in that vicintiy), then you have to go to some planet to get info on a notorious renegade, then you have to fight the renegade to get anna. However I do not remember the systems. So I guess I asked the question wrong. So guess I do not need your help on the Cruiser missions after all.

    • You never get to be the Dreadnaught. In fact, the Voinians never even mention it. It's a shame, really.

    • The UEcruiser missions you first go to new taronto then to Freeport, then follow instructions

    • The only way to get yourself into a Voinian Dreadnought is to jump into the system which contains the dreadnought (or the prototype), QUIT the mission and then immobilise it. Board it as normal. You will need a ship with a large crew, and even then I'd be surprised if you can get the capture odds up to 10%.
The Dreadnought is not meant for use by players. If you capture it, back up your pilot file (for fun)... and then get rid of the Dreadnought. It's just too damn slow. Using it as an escort might be fun - you could hide under it.

    • It's impossibal to capture the drednough!

Yes, you can capture the Dreadnaught and it does have that ability.

      Until you land.

Unfortunately, the rocket salvo weapon does not have a corresponding outfit.
So the next time you land (or maybe it only happens if you go into the
outfitters, I don't remember), you lose the rocket salvo launcher,
the enhanced neutron cannons, and the interceptor bay!

To correct this, you need to make a plugin that causes the outfits to exist
(even if they're unavailable), and you have to use it before you capture
the dreadnaught (using it after the fact will not repair your dreadnaught).

As our esteemed Voinian Ambassador says, we were not meant to fly this ship
(but it is possible to capture without cheating), although it makes an
      impressive-looking escort.

Not impossible, just EXTREMELY hard. Try downloading the SuperShips plugin that makes Dreadnoughts appear in Voinian space just like a Voinian Cruiser or Frigate. You're chances of capturing one are still almost non-existent.

    • I have Released a new version of the Superships plugin that adds adds the outfits for the dreadnought's weapons so that they don't disappear when you land (you can't by the outfits though)
