i've heard about Nova and wondering what it is.
If it's a plug for EVO can someone tell me where to get it.

I know, it took me a while to catch on too. . Nova is a TC plug being made by Frandall and Pipeline, and a company called Atmos. There are rumors that Nova became EV3 which Ambrosia will not comment on. You can't get Nova because the Atmos site 'went down'. The only thing you can get (right now) is the preambles in the EV Chronicles.

I think EV3 is going to be Nova. After all, they have that poll about "what would you do if Nova was released as EV3?"

I think that they shouldn't do that though. They need to make it themselves, but if is REALY GOOD....

Nova will be the EV3, it used to be a plug but now it will be the new EV. How do I know, well the screenshots released from Ambrosia confirm it when you compare them to parts of the Nova plug. Got to my site for more info.

Uh, Nova is made by the Hobert (Tazmania) based software group called ATMOS. Coincidently the name "ATMOS" is the name of several American and European companies, they are not related.

Anyways, Pipeline (Daffyd Williams) and Frandall (Australian Army guy -also a bit nutty) are only TWO of the members of ATMOS.
There have been two other members visit this board. They are equally as weird.

Originally, Nova was intended to be a cripple-ware plug-in. Meaning, you would get the plug-in... the extra missions and a few other things would cost $5 to $10.

When ATMOS spoke with Ambrosia... a number of possiblities arose. From that point on, discussions of exactly WHAT they were going to do was undecided. However, one thing was for sure... ASW would help distribute it. We know for sure it will now be made for the EV3 engine.

The scenerio itself was massive overhaul to the existing game. It feature HUGE pictures and descriptions. They tried to max out as much as they could. Everything from planet size to DLOG boxes were increased. They wrote over everything they could... everything down to buttons and sounds.

The problem was, Nova was TOO good. At some point it was decided that a new improved engine was required to show how high quality the scenerio was. I mean... they used LIGHTWAVE... damned expensive.

It features over 500 default systems, wonderful landing PICTS (done by Frandall on his RG -no B- monitor) and kickin' ships (by Pipeline).... just to name a few things to expect in the future.

Is Nova like EV? Expect changes in the 'freedom' of it intially. But stuff like that makes it more fun.

Well, I could go on... but I shant. I've revealed enough about it already... prolly more than I'm allowed

Yea. I took it from the '300' system Nova release that your's was an older copy.
