Yes! HTML is a neccesity! Better yet, allow lingo, XML, DHTML, javascript, and everything else! Allow us to walk about the boards in a truly 3D enviroment! Let the board have missions and NPC's and planets to land on and other online players (deep breath) and millions off systems and cross platform compatability and free marijuana!
Just to contributing to the cynical attitude that seems to be floating around at the momment. Juts kidding though, HTML should be allowed on the board.

It is obvious everyone here wants HTML, it keeps being brought up!
However, andrew for god-knows-what reason refuses to allow HTML on the B & B board. However, he does allow HTML on the Ares Trash Talk...

I would like it. I know HTML. I always forget the UBB code and have to go to the little link to check out how to do things. It would make things a lot easier for everyone if both HTML AND UBB code were active.
