    • A bug? Nah, couldn't be.

I'm playing the Izgrada missions, right? I'm supposed to go to Terapin system and kill all the Zidagar. Well, no matter how often and how thoroughly I cleanse the Terapin system, when I go back to where I got the mission, NOTHING HAPPENS. Has anybody else experienced this?

    • You're probably letting one or other of the ships you need to kill jump out and escape. With some missions it's not on to drive them away. It could also be that some of your allies are doing it. Try to always go for the first enemy ship that you target, don't hit 'nearest hostile' (default R). This happened to me in version 1.0.0, it's not a bug. Keep going. you'll get it in the end.

    • Hmm...in the brief/quickbrief, does it say to return to the planet where you got the mission? Perhaps you have to land on a different spob.

    • I've had that same problem twice.
First, on the Free Huron mission, where you have to clear out that one system (I can't remember the name) next to Huron, I've cleared out the system about a dozen times, I'm sure I didn't miss any ships, and I tried landing on that planet and Huron, but the mission never completes.
I've gotten pretty much the same problem with the Azdgari mission where you test all the enhanced aradas and azdaras, and you are supposed to kill all the Zidagar and Igadzra ships.
I am using the Executor emulator so that might be part of the problem but if someone running a "real" Mac has the same bug then maybe not...

    • I've had that problem with these missions and I've only ever played the game on Macs so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. However, you're probably missing ships, honest. 9 times out of 10 that type of mission is 'destroy or drive off', but when it isn't, just one of the ships you're meant to destroy warping out screws the entire thing (and they don't come back and give you another chance either :frown:). Of course I could be wrong, but this time, I don't think so

    • I've had that problem even with a "destroy or drive off" mission. It happens occasionally when I accept some of the random attack Voinan missions at the three outposts. I just abort when that happens. As I recall, one of the ships escaped at some point when I was doing the "defend Huron" missions, and I had no problem with them. I think its a bug.

Especially so, because when I go back to the system where the Voinans are supposed to be, there aren't any there, and none hyperspace in.

    • Hey, I finally got through it (as you could've told from my other post, Final Igadzra Mission). I just kept taking off and landing and finally I spotted a huge mass of Zidaras. I guess I got 'em all this time! Thanks!
