I have tried the link, and it works.
Perhaps the server was down when you tried. It's a really annoying (sp?) server. But it gives me unlimited free web space!!

For my personal taste, the ships look a bit too Star-Warsy ;), but the Advanced Pirate Fighter is darn friggin cool.

I fear that those intricate, highly detailed ships are going to look pretty poor when they appear in the game, since they'll have to be so small. And to my mind, the majority of them were exceedingly ugly, unlike the original ships in EV/EV0.

The specifications describe them as virtually dripping with weapons; what does that do to game balance? I wonder. Anyway, I wouldn't download this plug. The creator's poor standard of written English puts me off, too. Sorry.
