    • Adzgari Warship

I Have A Crescent warship, with nothing but 4 Phase Turrets, some Mass Expansions, a Azdara Bay, and some up-grades. I have never used the Adzgari Warship, and I want to know what they are equipped with. Do they have secondary Weapons? What is there Rotation/second, speed, and Acelleration? Is there anyway to find out what there shields are like? I really want one, because they can easily take out an Igadzra, and I am allied with the Adzgari, and I can't buy or capture one.

    • I opened it up, and I liked what I saw. I am making a small Plug-In, One mission, for the Adzgari, and I wanted the reward to be an Enhanced Adzgari Warship with Enhanced Arada's. I just started, have no previous experience, and my goal is a larger plug, where the three strands fight a war over who gets to colonize a new galaxy. So far, When I go to Veltes, Lathan, an Adzgari, wants me to test an Enhanced Asdgari Warship, but when I accept, nothing happens. I probably should start a new topic. The Easiest ship to kill the Dreadnought with is the Azdara, as long as a rocket doesn't hit you.

    • Ouch.. The very thought of Fighting the Alien Dreadnaught with a single Fighter.. Ewwww..

But it would be a hell of a challenge.. I may have to try it next time I get bored with conventional play..

    • sigh, people, it's not hard at all...

The Dreadnaught is slow, and really easy to Monty Python. The firing center is in the center of the ship, so it can't hit you at the same time as you are hitting it (though you have to use Neutron weapons to have sufficient range). Once all the fighters are out of the way, the Dreadnaught is really easy pickings.

It's not even a bug, it's just that the Dreadnaught sucks. Anyone can beat it in any ship whatsoever. If you want to, it's possible in a shuttlecraft, though I wouldn't recommend it (it would take at least an hour).

So, in other words, beating the Dreadnaught isn't any kind of accomplishment. I get considerably more trouble when I'm trying to kill Crescent Fighters.

    • Actually, With the Azdara, you don't even have to monty python. All I do is circle as fast as I can, and as long as I don't get hit with a rocket, I can usually win in about 30 minutes. Try an Azdara with 5 Swivel Phase Cannons, and as many shield enhancers, or generators as you can fit.

shrug Flying circles around it ahead of its fire is basically a glorified Monty Python, in my estimation.

I love how you say "I can usually win in about 30 minutes." It took me no more than ten in a Crescent Warship. The big "secret" is not to use phase weapons. They suck against armor. Use the Neutron weapons, then you can get somewhere with the Dreadnaught. 😄
