    • F-25 Made it to the MA CD

Well, F-25 managed to get itself a spot on the latest MacAddict CD, the June 2000 issue. Accidentally, Macster PR3 got into the same folder as F-25 (staff error I assume) and when they used Stuffit Installmaker to stuff that folder, it, well, got in there, on the thousands upon thousands of MacAddict CDs. Though I doubt the Macster company (Black hole I think? I'm too lazy to check (url="http://"http://www.macster.com)")www.macster.com)(/url) will be best pleased to see an old version on the MacAddict CD. Thats not the interesting part, however. The downloaded music folder contained to mp3's, which are NOT free. I expect some interesting developments for my favorite magazine in the near future...I already sent them a letter about it.

Are there any other fellow MacAddict subscribers here? Do you have the same "defect" on your CDs?

Oh, a quick little brag, you can find another letter I sent them in the February 2000 issue :D.

    • I don't subscribe, but I picked up the latest copy because of the articles on projects to do on your Mac. Yes, there was an copy of Macster (with some songs) in with the unstuffed F-25 files. But on the few copies of MacAddict Cds that I own, I've noticed quite a few corrupted or incomplete files, so I'm not really surprised. Does the F-25 copy work all right?

Purrs like a kitten. I've never had problems with the CDs, however. This is the first botched one, and I've been subscribing since issue 7.
