I would like everyone's opinions on this strategy. When I fight for the Voinians(usually in a shuttle for a long long time), I help by distracting the Destroyers just before they reach the Voinian ship. By doing this they are mad at me and don't fire rockets. If I am careful sometimes they will not be able to fire a single rocket and therefore lose to a Frigate. If anyone else has any tips for fighting the UE please post.
