Where exactly are you at in the plug? Have you completed the (basic EVO) NPD and UE Cruiser strings yet? I'd love to help, but I need more info.

Some very important events in Secession cannot take place until you've completed the NPD string (which starts in southern Miranu space, as I recall). Go for it!
