Ok, I just got my registration code, so I can finally play more. Now on a couple screens, I see a shimmering S in a circle. Anybody know what this is? I've seen it twice. Once south of Fantrima on a screen with a cyclops and a rock thing and once up north near Berglum.

Oh, its just that they're terribly comfortable, I think that everybody will be wearing them in the future.

That shimmering "S" indicates a secret path into the forest/trees/shrubbery, you name it, at that point. You see those when you gain the "pathfinding" skill. Just try to walk into the trees at that point and you'll find a hidden area there...usually with a treasure chest, bag, pile, etc.
