    • Doing well but 2 problems...

      Okay Experts,

I'm doing pretty well - got the waraxe of misery and even whacked a couple giants(? the grey minatouar guys) with them - great weapon. What's with the dwarf? I thought he might have weapons or something but he serves no function other than to warn me? Lame..unless I missed something. I have tunnel access to nearly the whole of Garendall except one or two spots (can't seem to get to the witch finger spot..even though I was with her.)

I'm 24th level I believe. Right now I am stuck on a few things:

      - I need to find the Bleeding Forest, I can't find it on the map, been everywhere. I need to get there to finish the quest to get the key I believe, or for Septremis..can't remember.

      - I was told trapping a "dark fairy" was not a big deal, but I want to complete it - yet do not know where to go to get one. don't mind a spoiler here.

      - What is the huge monster in the south that takes me out in one whack? He has like one giant claw...I cannot even come CLOSE to surviving that guy.

      - Buying potions from the witch - which potions will have the best effect on me to make me better, I have money for like 3 right now. My speed is only a 9...

      Thanks all.

the grey minotaur guys ARE minotaurs

      you will find out later...

Go 3 or 4 east of the order of crystal, (the big skull cave)

      - I was told trapping a "dark fairy" was not a big deal, but I want to complete it - yet do not know where to go to get one. don't mind a spoiler here.
its one north from the wyrm valley tunnel, you also need awareness skill

      - What is the huge monster in the south that takes me out in one whack? He has like one giant claw...I cannot even come CLOSE to surviving that guy.
Why do you think your running around Garendall for? to....save....the....people...from....(guess) 😛

      - Buying potions from the witch - which potions will have the best effect on me to make me better, I have money for like 3 right now. My speed is only a 9...
with trinity, I think max speed was 12, be a knight and get the right gear, but anyway, go for Dex. and Str, potions since your such a high level that getting more vitality potions now would be a waste of time.

    • The dwarf serves a function after you have a special item the elf asks you to obtain.

The Bleeding Forest is east of a tunnel entrance associated with a lake. There's two entrances, you'll have to figure out which entrance. (I'm trying not to spoil things too much with this...)

To trap a dark fairy, you need the Awarness skill. You get that as part of a quest near the north Gidolan (sp?) entrance. Once you have Awarness, you need pickup rumors about fairies in Berlgum (sp?).

That big guy that kills you with one whack is a Sea Giant. They can be killed, it just takes a lot of work to get to a character capable of killing them.

There are no potions that increase speed. I tend to go for potions that raise my dexterity initially. That allows me to survive combat with big guys and gals. Then I work on strength. Increasing those two status insure faster, less painful combats. Beyond that, luck and vitality are important. Luck seems to improve the kind of goodies or quantity of goodies one gets off of some monsters, or treasure hordes. Vitality increases one's stamina whenever one goes up a level.

    • Yo,

I am also trying to find the Bleeding forest and I can't the Awareness either but I have killed I Sea giants the trick is to have a crap load of DEX. because that way it is a lot harder for them to smack u out. So diffenetly get DEX. potions.

    • Dude if you find the bleeding forest. Post a set of directions here on this post plaese and if they could start at a tunnel enterence that would by very nice of you.
      THanks

Dude, posted this already. You should try and ask on only one thread. Otherwise you're a tad bit annoying. 🙂 Most people who are trying to help read all the threads.

You're telling me that my directions are not working? I'm pretty sure I'm spot on with them. Have you gotten the mission to find the ring yet? Because if you haven't, nothing much will happen in the Bleeding Forest. You have to have the mission first. And you're looking for the well, it's on the screen with the farm ruins and it's on the east end of the screen.

And you're fine. I've felt the desperation before myself. 🙂
