This sorta has to do with EVO. Anyway, when i d/l a file and i quit netcape the orginal file (.sit,.zip,.hqx) always erases! How do i make it so all filess stay?? thanks

Weird, I've neer seen that happen before. First, are your files automatically being opened by StuffIt/ZipIt/Tar, etc? If not, then I'm even more confused. Oh, a little tip to anyone who cares. If you ever download a .tar/.tar.gz file (kinda common with Perl Scripts), replace the extension with .sit and it will open fine with StuffIt.

Yes it opens automatically and unstuffs. But sometimes i like to keep the orginal .sit or .zip file. I'll quit netscape and it erases the original .sit or .zip file. any ideas?

I have the same problem, but i run netscape all day so it doesn't bother me
if i want to keep them i just hide netscape and move 'em off of the desktop, at least the works for me.
