    • Road Kill?

So call me blind, but I can't figure out how to complete that "Road Kill" quest.

I'm supposed to kill all of the Kobolds on the road "just to the South" of the camp. So I ask:

      1. which monsters are the Kobolds? I haven't found anything to give me a visual clue as to what kind of monster I'm beating on. So far I've seen "little guys with helmets", "bigger guys with cloaks and long hair", "big mosquitos" and "hairy animals walking on their hind legs and wearing armor". None of which make me think "Kobold". What does a Kobold look like? I've never seen one before!

      2. the only road that is "just south" of the camp is the very same road I came up to get to the camp in the first place. I killed everything that moved on my way up. Yet I get no indication that I've completed the quest.

So am I missing something obvious?

    • Kobolds are the short little guys with the axes, and will also throw stones at you.
Mission related monsters usualy are different then normal monsters, the Kobolds that you kill just below the camp are black with skulls on there armor and have red eyes, there should be like 5 or 6 per the two screens right before the camp. if you killed them all, talk to the girls husband at the camp saying you cleared the road.

    • Actually there is more like 10 of them. Remember to kill them on both screens they're on.

    • Thanks!

It looks like quest monsters don't regenerate between sessions (makes sense) and so that's why I wasn't seeing these kobolds. I killed the ones I saw the first time through, and didn't see any more.

I found an area I hadn't explored before, and sure enough there were three more of those guys. Killed them and the quest was completed.

      Thanks again 🙂

Off to look for that harp...
