I just received the PoG CD today. I had been led to believe that the disk would contain the quicktime movies for the boat trip for example. Alas the movies folders are empty in the PoG folder and the Trinity folder.
What gives?

I believe thats a option if you got a messed up CD to begin with.
Although the only thing the CD is missing is the Trinity plug data, I think the pog movies are on the coldstone CD.

Damn! And no chance of downloadable movies I suppose?
I really wanted those movies, and they were pretty much the only reason I asked for a CD when I ordered, but not quite enough that I want to burden AmbrosiaSW with the cost of reissuing and shipping the CD (to Norway, no less).
Can anyone confirm that the movies are indeed on the Coldstone CD?

same sorta thing happened to me i chose the POG cd and i got the ambrosia cd with all the shiny demos i emailed ambrosia but so far have had no reply im just hoping that the coldstone CD will have coldstone on it

Just wanted to add that I received a nice email from Ambrosia yesterday.
Yeah, I had a similar experience. I sent them an e-mail over the Christmas holidays,
and did not get a response until 10 days later. The reply was nice though, appologized
for the delay(mentioned the holidays and an email problem - completely understandable),
and then answered my question.
And since the question I asked them I have not seen them post on the board about, I
figured they weren't interested in making it common knowledge, or at least not yet,
so I've kept my mouth shut.

Well, I wish that somebody would say something. I ordered a CD because I wanted the movies and the Windows version of the game. Apparently neither are on there. I had planned on sending the CD to my brother, who is running Windows, but wanted to try out PoG. Any idea if I can get the CD I was told I was ordering? This would really be preferrable as my brother does not have a fast connection and would spend hours downloading PoG, which is not an option for him. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Andrew (the president of Ambrosia Software) posted that the CD's got goofed up
and sent out goofed up(no idea how, but it happened). He said that everyone who received
a goofed up CD should contact them and when the correct CD's are printed(I'm not sure
if they are done yet or not. Probably not though, as I imagine he'll post when they
are) you will receive one.
You do need to contact them though and notify them that your CD isn't correct. The
e-mail address is: help@AmbrosiaSW.com
Just send them an email with your name and let them know you got a CD that isn't
correct, and ask that you can be sent the correct one. They should send you a reply
within a few days letting you know the turnaround time for it.

Thanks. From the other responses here I couldn't tell if people just didn't know what they were talking about or if something else was going on. I wish Ambrosia would be a little more forthcoming with information, because I have always admired them and enjoyed their games. Thanks for the information. Let's just hope there aren't any similar snafu's with EVN. If so it might be time to fire that parrot.
