    • Sea shells

I've got some blue, green and red sea shells. What do I do with them?

      ------------------

    • Grind them into seashell powder.

      Grind them into seashell powder.

You can do this if you have the Trinity plug-in. If so then find the wandering
salesman and purchase the seashell grinder from him(I believe it costs 1000 gold). Then
use it to grind your seashells up into powder. Use the powder to gain double experience
points while the effect lasts. There is a bug with using multiple doses of powders so
use only 1 at a time until the effects wear off.

If you are not using the Trinity plug-in then the only use for them is to sell them.

    • You're not able to sell the seashells if you don't have the trinity plug-in. They show up in red and you do not have the option of selling. So apparently they just take up room in your inventory. Joy of joys.

I'm not using trinity because I did not want to start my game over. And I have to say that I won't use trinity right away when I'm done playing because except for a few exceptions, it's basically playing the same game over again. So maybe in a year or two.

Uhm, it's been awhile, but my recollection is that you can indeed sell those pesky shells if you are only playing the Orig. PoG. You don't get much gold in return, but it is better than just dropping them.

The seashells are indeed red, but that only prevents you from using them, not from
selling them. At least, I've always sold mine. Which was one of the reasons I was
miffed when Trinity came out and you could use the seashells but there were no additional
locations to get them from. I had to start a new game if I wished to utilize them, since
I sold all the ones in the game.

The 3 colors each give a different value when sold. SOmething like 12, 20, and 30 gold
per shell for the differing colors. I may be wrong on their value, and I don't recall
      which was more valuable.

    • Thanks.
I only started using the trinity after the c.d arrived (I'd been using the unregisted version) and I don't think it has counted. The sea shells show up in red so im guising it hasn't.

Well..phooey! I just unloaded a pile of plunder at Fungus's and I thought I couldn't sell them. I'll check a bit closer the next time I head that way. That may not be for a while. I'm currently off for a lovely vacation on the Witch's Finger. I'll write you all a postcard. And if you don't hear from me, for the love of GOD come and get me out of there!
