I just finished PoG Trinity, but I never got any higher than squire. I'm assuming There's some way to become a knight. Unfortunately I never found it. But I did finnish the game, there was a long sequence with the giants, then it said "The End".

Be more specific. How far did you get in Septembris' quests? Did you warn the garrisons at Dernath and Berglum? Did you get the High Garendall standard? I think what you need to do is talk to the guy you rescued from the cave, Decimus. He's the one in front of the tent right south of Fantrima. He'll tell you to warn the garrisons, then go talk to Septembris. This should lead to a string of quests to become a knight (+5 strength and +1 speed).
