I have enjoyed playing Ferazel for the last three months, I have no problems with any levels except this one. The Cannons dive me absolutely crazy ( Its no wonder I have not put my game pad through my monitor. I am about to give up my journey at this point, and its a shame since I LOVE this game. Does any body have a saved game from the other side of the timed wall. I will trade software, my wife, or my mother, even though you would'nt want my mother, Shes more jumpy than those frogs. So please help, or tell me how I can beat the second pair of cannons. I play this great game for stress relief, not added stress!!

If you are absolutely at the last resort, I'd do it for you , too (mulletsailors@yahoo.com). But here are some tricks:
Forget about all the Xichrons and Bonuses. You can get them later.
When in cannons, wait until the cannon is at the bottom of its up-down motion (you should then see the other cannon you're aiming for).
Don't be in too much of a rush. 5 minutes is more than enough time if you keep going at a moderate pace.
Don't forget that you can run (default: shift key).
When going through the sinking sand, let yourself "drown." You'll only go down 1 bar, and you should have a reasonable amount of health left, anyway. (That's the way I did it... Did anyone do it differently?) (edit)Fire above the sand, then.(/edit)

Good luck. Just try it again another day. I had to try many times to get the hang of it.

If you go UP at that spot (just before going into the quick sand), you can fire through the ceiling and bypass the quicksand that way. Saves bunches of time.

Thanks everybody for your help - I did receive some help from a fellow traveler, and also finally did it myself the cannons before the maze really drive me nuts with one stationary and others turning - My timing is not up to par there - Very Challenging and Very hard - Reminds me of the days chasing the thief through the Great underground trying to retrive my zorkmids
