Just for comparison's sake - how'd you do on YOUR last game of Ferazel's wand (the original levels).

There's no "High Score" listing in the game (at least as far as I've been able to find), so post here your best score going INTO Xichra's Lair, before killing the two goblins & collecting their coins & points.

(We'll assume no Ferazediting!, and that everyone has 99 of both kinds of seeds.)

I bought an Ice Pick but I thought the max number of Health potions was 1. If you look at the conversations in MASCOT it always checks to see if the player has 1. If (s)he has 1, the Merchant will say somthing like "Hmmmm...you know what, I think you've already got enough of those. I ain't selling you any more from my private stash. Now scram outta here." I try to leave the health potions where they are in the game. I'll buy one from the merchant and then if I use it, will go back and buy another one (the max allowed). At the end of the game I'll go back and collect all my stashed health potions. Didn't do too well in this last game - got lazy and just used them up as I got them so I only had one going into Xichra's lair. Usually I have more - 6 or 7.

You're right though - if you have one health potion (or more) you can't buy any more.
