i have a few questions:
what is the shovel good for?
what does the sea shell grinder do? I saw that trader guy and bought a bunch of stuff from him, just on the off chance i'd need it.
where is dernath? I am trying to warn all the guards in the kingdom but i dont even know where durnath is

what is the shovel good for?
Can be used as a weak weapon, but for ranger, it lets him use the mole tunnel ability. and if you do have the ranger, buy several if you can, they sometimes break.
what does the sea shell grinder do?
Its grinds seashells, the powder doubles you XP you earned while useing it.
where is dernath?
Right before the rope bridge just north of fantrima, go east, when you hit the ocean, go south. if you look at the map you gained from the learning tree, it shows it on the other side of the moutain range of fantrima.

Pathfinding allows you to find secret paths quickly. It makes them visable by
displaying a white S enclosed in a circle next to a secret path. This way you
will see the path and be able to enter it instead of the "old fashioned way" of
riding the tree line hoping to "fall through" when a secret path was to be had.
This is a passive skill in that you don't have to do anything. If a secret path
exists then you will be able to see it.
