    • This only happened once, I don't know what was wrong: I bought a health potion from Rojinko and recieved a poppyseed muffin instead. 😕

I think that the very end of Can't Stand the Heat should be easier. I have never been able to crunch the tiles, then move the rock, and then climb and get through the door. :frown:

It took me a while, but I did it.
I don't think that level should be easier.

      AVN: You think that's hard?
Your levels are at least as hard.

Yes. Which brings up a point for all you OBW people. 🙂 To make a level nearly impossible to complete is not the majority of people's idea of fun. I hope you all remember that. Because I moderate, I read the OBW thread. Many of you seem to be taking untold glee from the fact that you've made levels that are extremely hard. It's making me a bit reluctant to try your world when it comes out! If it's going to end up being more difficult than the original Ferazel's Wand..I'm fairly sure I'd rather not. I'm a wimp!

Bravo Zelda! You're not a wimp. (and I'm not just saying that to keep my Karma, although I am curious to see what +5 is...)

It's just not fun to die and die and die, or search fruitlessly for that final 4% of secrets.

IMHO any "hidden" items should be able to be seen from someplace, just to know that you have to find a way to get to it. It's easy to put something where no one can see it. Where's the gamesmanship in that? One of the best things in the original game is that you could see that there was something there, but figuring out how to get there... THAT was the challenge.

That would be "Pillar of society" I think.

The OBW project will be divided into sections. (Such as Ice, Fire, Woods, Etc)
      Most sections will be resonable.
      One will be VERY hard.

However, I find AVN's levels pretty hard.
Maybe someone should try some of our levels and give us feedback on how hard they find them.

    • Since lots of people are asking for extraordinary things:
      How about horizontal pillars?
This would be a lot of fun but probably hard to make, just throwing it out there.

Apu: Well, if the police won't help us, we'll simply have to take the law into our own hands.
Wiggum: Yeah, yeah! A lot of people are doing that these days.

When Ferazel becomes open-source (if ever), you'll see loads of things like:
      The thing you mentioned
      The Leech
Doors that close when you step on a button
      New Ropes
      New Enemies
      New Bosses
      New Platforms
      New types of objects, even.

    • I have this really wierd bug.

Whenever I hit pause (caps-lock) the game crashes and gives me an error of type 12.

      This happens every single time.

It really annoys me cause when my friend comes over to play it (he has PC's) on my computer, he has a tendency to hit random keys when he is playing. (thus he will accidentally pause it and then it will crash)

If ben could fix this it would make my life a whole lot easier.

    • I know Ben doesn't have a whole lot of time, but something that would be nice would be to open source MASCOT. I dunno. Maybe I'm asking for something rather nutso here.

I'm not a programmer, and I don't play one on TV. But 'twould be cool if others could create more (er... uh... um...) user friendly editors for FW. Mascot's pretty cool, but admitedly hard to use. So would that be a possibility, perhaps even for a modest fee?

As for the game, if Ben could just take an hour or so to make this a first-person 3D shooter-type game... (just kidding).

That would be nice, but I wouldn't work on it unless Ferazel's Wand was open source also.
Imagine having new bosses, new buttons, new... 🙂
