First and foremost, thank you one and all for all you wonderful, useful postings. Without them I never would have gotten as far as I have. So far every problem I've had has been addressed somewhere, and the posted info has been just what I needed to proceed.
Now I have some questions/problems.
First, I just slew the fire guardians (a fact of which I am most proud). And I have collected my fire charm. From what I'd been reading, I assumed (silly me) that I could go back into the fire wall levels and the fire wall wouldn't touch me. I find this is not the case. Therefore, when I try to collect more goodies, naturally I get killed. Any suggestions? I'd really like that rez necklace.
Second, there doesn't seem to be another automatic level beyond the fire guardians. Do I have to go back to a certain point?
Third, a lot of what I've been reading seems to indicate that people are getting into the Ice regions before the fire. That didn't happen to me. I remember one point at which there were several ways to go, that didn't all seem to wind up in the same place. Is that where I go back to, or am I missing something.

You are most correct - the Fire Charm is only good against "floor" fire, not the rolling wall of fire. You will just have to leap as usual in front of the fire. The fire charm does come in handy in the "Ends of the Earth". However, you will have to collect enough Xichrons to get in there. If you haven't been to the ice regions you will have to go there just to collect enough (plus a few other useful tools that you'll need).

Have you taken the right exit from Unemployed in Greenland? If so, you should have gone through a rain storm and then had the choice to go either to Hangnabit or to the Ice area.
That's where you have to go next.

Thanks for the info. I dont think I came that way. Actually, I'm not even sure if I was in that level yet. I went through several before I needed the web board and realized I needed to know their names.
