I did it. In order to get past the springs, you must remember two things:
1. Never press the "jump" button.
2. Patience is a virtue.
Now, from the beginning:
1. Get to the first ledge. Run off the ledge, starting from about the middle of the ledge. You will land between the springs one and two.
2. Now, you can either let the wind push you left, then run into the next spring.
If you choose that, you will be propelled high into the air but FORWARD. You will
land just before the last spring before the ziridium brine. OR, you can just walk
into the spring. That will propell you high, but forward, and you'll land between
the next set of springs. Then just walk into the next one to get to the last spring
before the brine.
3. This time, you have to run. Again, let the wind push you as far left as possible,
then RUN into the last spring. Sometimes, not always, that will get you past the
ziridium brine onto the next ledge. Don't worry about trying to get the xichrons
above the brine--you'll get those accidentally.
4. Now, walk into the next spring. You'll land between the next two springs. Then
keep walking into each spring until you get to the last spring.
5. Now you have to act fast, because there isn't much space here, and if the wind
pushes you back you'll wind up back on the first ledge again. Once you land,
establish control, then RUN into the last spring. It will propel you onto the
ledge with the rez necklace.
I went back over the springs to get to the ground again. That last ledge is
pretty close to spikes and monsters, and you don't want to waste all
the effort.
This will take some practice--you'll have to learn how to get back in control when
you land between each spring. But once you learn how to use the springs instead
of fighting against them, you'll succeed.
One note: I'm playing with an iShock. It really does give you more control. I
don't know if this can be done with the keyboard.
Hope this helps!
