In the habinant burial grounds (2 stages after the first one in the game), there is a secret room with Xichrons (sp?) and a necklace. There is also a door leading to it, but I cannot find the entrance. Where is it? How do I get to it?

The area where you see the room with the necklace is the area with the two moving platforms. Take the one to the left...follow it all the way to the end where you'll find a headstone in the middle of a purple pool. Fireball the east wall, go through that room and then toss fireseeds when you come to another wall. Toss them until you can blast no further then hit the up key.
