Does the rock in central caverns serve any purpose? I recently went back there to try and find all the secrets. I ended up finding a whole crap load of secrets, but I still have about 20% of Xichrons to go. (I have only gotten 100% Xichrons in A Scent of Peril and River of Fear and I've gotten to the place where you need 20 reds! :eek: )

Do reusable save ponts exist? It seems all too possible to get near the end of the game without having found 100% Xichron anywhere and no places left to save your progress and yet to get all the xichrons in one sitting would be an impossible task...

If you are referrring to the rock on the top of a set of platforms, I used it to drop it off the edge to kill the goblin below.

Did you find both exits from Central Caverns?

Reusable save points don't exist, but I think you will find as you progress that you can leave some save points for later use. In many levels, there is a save at the end, and then a save at the beginning of the next level. You can leave one of these for later.

I've been doing that and Ive been using up spare save point rapidly too. I guess I just have to try and get all Xichrons.

Shoot, my game might be permanently messed since I'm on "The Dig" and I've used up all availible save points in every level before the pudgy goblin dude. There should have been a save point bank in "Purple Haze".

The rock in Central Caverns can be pushed off the ledge to kill one baddie and then rolled off the opposite edge of the lower ledge to kill the next baddie. If pushed far enough, it can kill the baddie in the narrow space a little bit to the east as well.
