Hey, I'm sure this is obvious, and I'm just not looking in the right place due to a mental block or something, but where is the Bleeding Forest?

Also, I tried to go into the crypt in the North (the one which leads to High Ganderall), but it said I needed a key to get in there. I'm assuming that once I get the ring for that guy at the learning tree that the key will be either there at the tree or I'll be sent on a mission to find it or something. Is this right?

Bleeding Forest is south of the BIG lake Vanderdeep or whatever it is called.
